A few weeks ago was the iconic pret-a-porter (ready to wear) segment of Paris fashion week! A friend of mine in my residence is doing her masters in Fashion Communication and thus knows all the tricks of the trade of how to get in to fashion week if you are a 'nobody'. We waited in the standing line for several fashion shows, including Vivienne Westwood, Lanvin and many other names that I was not familiar with. Unfortunately I did not get into any shows as they were too full but some of my friends got into other shows. Very exciting! I am not disappointing however because waiting outside the fashion show was just as fun...All of Paris' most fashionable and eccentrically dressed come outside to strut their stuff. Photographers and paparazzi were running all over the place and some people were dressed so outrageously. I managed to snap some pictures which you can see below:
